Google Fun

Did you know that you can search number ranges with google? Before this morning, I didn’t.

Say, for example you wanted to find out which years in the 1960s had a Summer Olympic Games. The way you tell google to search through a range of numbers, in this case 1960 to 1969, is to use two dots between the extremities of the range. So, to search for Summer Olympic Games years between 1960 and 1969, all you’d do is query summer olympics 1960..1969. The first result clearly highlights all the relevent years for you, as if by magic.

In other news, google has done a Page Rank update today, and the workingwith.me.uk homepage has risen from a Page Rank of 2 to a Page Rank of 4. So a big thankyou to everyone who has been linking to the site over the last couple of months.
