Powerpoint Karaoke

Last night I took part in London’s first Powerpoint Karaoke night. Basically, the premise was that you got to present some Powerpoint presentations that you’d never seen before, hopefully injecting a little humour along the way. These were all real slides, slurped off the net via Google, which helped to add an extra level of surrealism to the event.

Over the course of the evening I got to learn about Cobras, that the BBC is becoming as Borg, and the fact that the Song Aibo is the greatest threat to humanity ever conceived. On top of all this, I discovered that Web 2.0 is here and ready for use!

Tom, Christian and Ian have already blogged about the night. Big thanks to Ian for organising, and I’m looking forward to the next one already.
