Geek in the Park

Everyone loves a good picnic - a nice bit of sun, relaxing under a tree, WaSPs threatening to attack you…

On Sunday 27th August, the Multipack has organised what will hopefully be the first annual Geek in the Park event in the lovely town of Royal Leamington Spa.

It’s a family day out, with a picnic starting at about midday followed by “The Discussion” at 7pm. Entitled “Where the rubber meets the road: Web Accessibility and Pragmatism”, Patrick H. Lauke and Bruce Lawson will (I presume) be talking about how web accessibility can be applied to Real World projects.

It should be a grand day out, and I’m looking forward to it already. Oh, and it’s free!
