iTunes COM Interface for Windows updated in iTunes 4.8

It turns out that the release of iTunes 4.8 did bring with it an update to the iTunes COM Interface for Windows.

Version 1.3 of the iTunes Type library adds the IiTunes::ConvertOperationStatus() property, IITIPodSource::SoftwareVersion() property and the _IITConvertOperationStatusEvents::OnConvertOperationCompleteEvent() outgoing event. To be perfectly honest, none of these new changes interest me that much, being merely minor improvements on the underlying API. Still, it’s all good, and looks like a set of improvements made at the behest of of the developer community.
